2025 Schreiner University Mountaineer Summer Band Camp

 
Event Registration Details
June 17th - 21st

Who: Grades 7th - 12th
(Must have finished 6th Grade and at least one year of Band)

Time: 
June 17th - 20th | 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.
June 21st | 9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
Report from 8:30 A.M. - 9:00 A.M. each day

Cost: $160 ($150 + $10 Fee)

Location: Summerlin Music Building

Program Includes:

  • Wind Band Workshop
    • Presented by Roy Martin, Coordinator of Bands at Schreiner University
  • Indoor Percussion Mini-Camp in Conjunction with the Schreiner Drum & Bugle Corps
    • Presented by Award-Winning Educator David Hochstetter, Director of Percussion, Judson I.S.D – San Antonio
  • Instrument Masterclasses: pedagogy, all-region etudes, solos, etc.
    • Presented by Award-Winning Professional Instrumentalists
  • Marching / Leadership Workshop
    • Presented by Award-Winning Texas Band Director Craig Ewing, Director of Bands – Orange Grove I.S.D.
  • Lunch Provided On-Campus Tuesday - Friday
  • Fun Activities
    • Pool Party
    • Movie/Fun-O-Rama (pizza, games)
  • Music Exhibition at The Event Center on Saturday at 12:00 PM
    • Put your skills on display
